Our JHSC Refresher virtual course is an instructor-led online learning course consisting of modules that are delivered via Zoom by our experienced trainers at set times with up to 25 other students. This course takes one (1) day to complete in a virtual setting and can be taken in the comfort of your space.

The JHSC Refresher Training can only be taken within 3 years of completing JHSC Certification Training or you. Use the check tool here to find out your eligibility before registration. A certified JHSC member is one who has successfully completed the CPO-Approved JHSC Certification Training Program. JHSC training program has two (2) parts. To become a certified JHSC member, you will need to complete both parts successfully. During COVID-19, Joint Health and Safety Committee certification training (JHSC training) is one of the most effective ways for employers to minimize COVID-19 workplace transmission.
This workshop style class is required once every 3 years for certified members to renew their certification.
Review of the key concepts from Part 1 and Part 2 of JHSC training
Describe changes to legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
Learn from other experienced JHSC members about potential health & safety challenges and possible solutions
The latest version of the Green Book with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act with all pertaining regulations under the Act.
Start with the basics- Get a H&S Board (36” * 48”) with mandatory posters and WHMIS symbols printed and sections premarked for company-specific information
Basic policies- Health and Safety and Workplace Violence and Harassment policies. Print, sign, date and post them on your board.
