Exploring New Horizons in OHS Average Read Time - 5 min

On May 30, 2024, Markham, Ontario, became the epicenter of occupational health and safety (OHS) excellence during our event, "New Horizons in Safety: A Morning of Safety Excellence & Innovation." Organized by 4S Consulting Services in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development, the Ontario Workplace Safety Insurance Board, and the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association, the event brought together key stakeholders and experts in the field of OHS. The gathering was an invaluable platform for discussing current challenges, opportunities, and innovative strategies in workplace safety. The morning was filled with enlightening presentations, engaging discussions, and moments of recognition for outstanding contributions to OHS.

He also highlighted the importance of collaboration between regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders, offering practical and actionable strategies to improve occupational health and safety across different sectors. 
 
Bill 79: Round Table Discussion: A critical session on Bill 79 facilitated an in-depth round table discussion. This bill, addressing various aspects of workplace safety and employee rights, was analyzed from multiple perspectives. The discussion highlighted its implications for employers and workers alike, offering a comprehensive understanding of the bill's impact. A highlight of the event was the VIP panel discussion hosted by Sobi Ragunathan, VP of Operations, Strategy & Partnerships at 4S Consulting. Esteemed speakers, including Kiran Kapoor, VP of Service Delivery at WSPS, shared insights on leadership in safety, the role of innovation in modern safety practices, and the importance of strategic partnerships.
