Course Description
This newly revised WHMIS training course provides a thorough understanding of Canada’s national standard for hazard communication. The December 2022 updates to the Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR) are incorporated into this course, ensuring that workers receive the most up-to-date training available. Participants will learn how to identify hazards, interpret pictograms and labels, and understand safety data sheets (SDS) to help create a safer work environment. Workers who handle or are exposed to hazardous products are legally required to complete WHMIS training. This course also emphasizes the importance of both general education and site-specific training for complete compliance. After successfully completing the course and passing the final exam, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
