Our journey with 4S Consulting began in 2019, starting with the development of our Health and Safety Management System, progressing through COR 2015, and most recently achieving COR 2020 certification and implementing the WSIB Health and Safety Excellence Program. Lexsan Electrical Inc. located in Oakville ON. retained the services of 4S Consulting Services Inc. to assist and guide us in obtaining our IHSA COR Certification. The task of building a successful and manageable H&S management system is not an easy task and we would never have been able to get to the certified stage we are at today without the professional team from 4S we had working with us. For me personally, after some internal management changes I became the H&S Manager midway through the process. They made picking up and running with the remainder of the certification process as easy as they could have made it. Their attention to details and rapid responses help to keep the train moving in the right direction. Friendships have been developed which makes moving into the next phase of COR so much easier. 4s was an integral part of us working towards our COR Certification, their software system and integration of COR forms, policies, and procedures is excellent, their coaching and support with our staff in preparation of the external audit was also very helpful.

Pegah Construction and I had the pleasure of working with our assigned External Auditor - Sobi Ragunathan - during our COR Audit.

We found Sobi to be extremely knowledgeable with the interpretation and expectations of health and safety legislation. Furthermore, Sobi was very knowledgeable in the COR Audit expectations. We found Sobi to be a completely neutral Auditor, whom was fair and unbiased through-out the entire process

Although we did not pass on our first attempt, Pegah did not take this as a failure, but as a learning curve. Sobi provided clear and concise guidelines in our Report for Corrective Actions to be taken, and provided feedback in areas where she found Pegah could improve.

Thanks to the guidelines and feedback provided by Sobi, Pegah Construction passed the COR Audit on our second attempt.
As a safety professional, I found myself privileged to have completed this Audit with Sobi, as I gained knowledge that I would not have been privy to otherwise.
