What is Working at Heights Training?

Working at Heights Training is a safety course that teaches workers how to identify fall risks and use fall protection systems correctly.  and covers safe practices for ladders, scaffolds, roof work, harness use, anchor points, and emergency planning. This training is essential for anyone working in construction, maintenance, or any job where falls may occur. 

Our Working at Heights Training is designed to meet safety requirements and provide a clear, practical understanding of working at heights procedures. Our WAH training is a blended course of online learning and onsite practical training.

Working at Heights Training is recommended for anyone working at over 3 meters (10 feet), including but not limited to: 

Working at Heights certification needs to be renewed every 2 years through a 4 hour in person refresher course.

How long does Working at Heights training take?

Working at Heights comprises of a 3.5 hour online e-learning portion and a 4 hour in-class practical portion.

Requirements depend on your job role and local safety regulations, but it is strongly recommended for anyone working above 3 meters (10 ft). Workers in the construction, roofing, maintenance and other similar industries often require certification.

Online training is a portion of the Working at Heights certification process, however an in-class practical portion is also required.

WAH Certification needs to be renewed every 2 years. Refresher courses to renew certification only require one 4 hour in-class course instead of the blended 2 portion training sessions.

Yes, we offer onsite group training for larger teams and can help coordinate regular training sessions as part of a company safety program.
