Course Description
A scenario-based eLearning course, the Diversity, Inclusivity, and Unconscious Bias training gives workers the tools needed to understand their own biases and how to have more respect for co-workers. By exploring Canada’s journey with diversity, the participant will gain an understanding not only of legislation, but also the importance and value of diversity, and inclusivity in today’s business environment. Learners will come to understand how fostering a respectful, inclusive, and equitable environment allows both people and businesses to thrive. “We seem to be so hard set in what we call our principles, which are not so much our principles but our prejudices. Let’s try to get beyond that.” – Alex Trebek, Canadian-born television host
