Welding is joining process in which metals are heated, melted and mixed to produce a joint. The process exposes the employee to hazards such fires, burns, electrical shocks, toxic exposures and falls. The aim of this course is to raise understanding and awareness of the safety issues associated with welding. Some of the topics covered in this training are: safe arc and oxy fuel welding, control program, safety inspection and safe work practices while welding.
