Falls are the single largest cause of serious accidents in the workplace. Over 35% of the yearly fatalities are related to falling. The Fall Protection Regulation addresses those situations where there is a potential for a worker to fall from an elevation of 3 meters or greater unless a fall from a lesser height can cause injury, for example, working over operating equipment. This course covers fall prevention, fall arrest systems, as well as the appropriate procedures for handling an accident that results in a fall.
