This training is to provide Managers and Supervisors with the means of understanding and identifying workplace violence and harassment. It will also inform Managers and Supervisors of how they are to handle such situations in the workplace. The areas of focus include risk assessments, policies and procedures, training requirements as well as monitoring and preventing workplace violence and harassment. The training reflects the changes made to the Occupational Health and Safety Act in Ontario as of June 15, 2010. Specific duties and responsibilities are outlined for the Managers and Supervisors to follow.
